Tensions over the RG Kar rape case have reached a boiling point, with public anger erupting in unexpected places. In a recent incident on a Kolkata bus, a passenger's controversial comment about the case led to a physical altercation. The incident occurred on a 78/1 route bus traveling from Dharmatala to North 24 Parganas.
According to reports, the passenger made a remark suggesting that students benefiting from government-funded education should be more mindful, specifically in the context of the RG Kar rape case.
This comment immediately triggered a strong reaction from a female passenger who took offense and began to confront him. The situation quickly escalated, with other passengers joining in and physically assaulting the man.
The altercation was eventually halted by police, who intervened and escorted the man off the bus at Central Avenue. The incident, captured on video, has since gone viral on social media, further fueling public outrage.
